Hi. It’s the day after I got back from Girl Scout camp. Everyone else just got home today. We went to Camp Shawadassee, in Michigan.
First, we went for a lllooonnnggg walk around camp (in the dark). Then, we roasted marshmallows. I like mine crunchy on the outside, gooey on the inside. We went to sleep around 10:00.
On the second day, we did loads of cool stuff. First, we went to the archery place. I didn’t hit the target but got one very near. Next, we went on another hike. Then I went on the climbing wall. After that, we went on a 90,000,000- (Ellen B. you exaggerator!) -mile hike around camp. We had done 89,999,999 miles when I went home because I didn’t feel well. Maddie will tell you about the last day of Girl Scout camp (there’s a twist).
A shocking twist...!
Wow Ellen... Anyway, hey there happy campers, Girl Scout camp was AWESOME!!! The shocking TWIST was my partner, the one BOY SCOUT!
I’m writing about the activities! Our first activity was to play team-building games and try to get out of the Bermuda Triangle, and then we went to archery! I got mine nowhere near the target. The activity after that was rock climbing. I got the record with 13 seconds on the way up ON THE HARD SIDE!!!! After crafts we had dinner. Then we had campfire and campfire songs. The next morning we had canoeing and then we ‘retired’ some old tattered American flags. That’s when you respectfully cut up and burn the flags. It's really important not to cut up the blue part with the 50 stars, because that might signify dividing up the states.
I’ll see you lot when something interesting happens... (Next weekend...!)
Hi to you both, That was a shame Ellen you had to go home especially when you only had one mile to go on that loooooong walk!!!!! Hope you're feeling better.
ReplyDeleteMaddie, how lucky were you having the one BOY scout, hope he was good looking!!!! How brilliant you were climbing the wall...Well Done! It was all very interesting. Glad you had a lovely time. Love to all G & G & Susie xxxxx
