Anyway, Maddie here to tell you about the differences in school between South Bend and Ossett!
1. We have lockdowns! In other words if there’s any chance of anyone near the school that might even be slightly dangerous the head teacher says a certain code (which I obviously can’t tell you) and everyone locks the school, turns out the lights and hides! We had one this week, and I hid behind my teacher’s desk.
2. Storm drills! As there NO CHANCE WHATSOEVER of a tornado in Ossett we don’t have storm drills, but in Indiana... well let’s just say, they had five last June!!!!!!!!
3. We have LOCKERS!!!!!!
4. They call full stops ‘periods’.
5. We have to lug our stuff around to our several different teachers. :(
