Hi, today we went to New Buffalo, which is somewhere or other far away - it’s not, Ellen! - (1 hour's drive,on Lake Michigan).
First, we went to the beach, IT WAS COLD!!!!!!!!!!!!! On the way, we found a shop with beach equipment and bought some. On the beach, we made a sandcastle village.

Maddie tried to dig to Australia (the hole was BIG).

Then we went to get an ice cream. I had a root beer float. I enjoyed my day at New Buffalo.

ReplyDeleteJust had an email from your Gran and Grandad. They are home again and are SO tired but they loved every moment they were with you. ENJOY all the time you have left. You must write all you remember in a daily diary, so that when you get back you can tell all your friends. It is getting chilly here now. Soon it will be Guy Fawkes night, I bet they don't celebrate that over there!!!! You will have to buy some fireworks and build a bonfire and EXPLAIN to those pesky "Mericans" what it is all about.
