Rum Village Park

Howdy there! (I’m American now!)

On Monday, after school, we went to Rum Village Park, in South Bend. At the start I was scared of getting a tick, but then we saw that an area was fenced off for the sort of animals that give you those things (deer).   There were lots of fungi on logs and for some reason mum got totally captivated by taking photos of them!?
























After a while (it was bound to happen) we got lost. When we eventually found our way out we ended up in a play-area. (Kerching!)


Which way now?
When we went home Grandpa saw a centipede crawl into our toaster; and then spent most of the night dismantling our toaster to get it out!!!!   We don't have photos of this, but you can work out what happened by using the following clues:

    Hi there! We enjoyed our walk in the woods with you and the photos Mum took of the fungi are brilliant! Well Done Mum!!!
    Glad that Grandpa got rid of the centipede from the toaster................"Centipede on Toast" does NOT sound very appetising!!!!
