(American) Football

Today was the first game of the American football season. Notre Dame were playing Purdue. GO IRISH!!!!!!!

Supporting Notre Dame

It was so busy. I couldn’t help going to look. There were loads of things to do. Loads of food stalls (it wasn’t hard to find an elephant ear stall).

Elephant ears... Mmmm!

There was a place where the marching band played and they led us to the stadium where the game started.

The band (and the crowd)

Click here to hear the Notre Dame Fight Song, the most heard tune on campus today!

There were cheer-leaders and 130 people in the band.

In America American Football is really important, about as noticed as Rugby and English football (or 'soccer') put together!!!!!!!!!!

PS Notre Dame won, 23-12.  GO IRISH!!!!!!
